Carlisle ISD, in consultation with community stakeholders, plans to use the American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds known as ESSER III, to install air filtration campus-wide and upgrade HVAC systems to improve indoor air quality and reduce the spread of viruses. The district will address the needs of students who may have experienced learning loss due to an interruption in educational services through supplemental staff providing intervention and small group instruction during the instructional day, along with tutorials after school and a summer program. Further, instructional staff will participate in focused professional development that targets academic intervention. These funds will be used to provide curriculum resources, diagnostics, and student technology. ESSER III funds will be used from the late summer of 2021 through the end of September 2024.
