The kindergarten classes had a great time going to E-5 Family Farm and visiting the fire station to see all that they have learned during Fire Prevention Week in person. The students watched a presentation from the fire fighters, toured the fire truck and ambulance, and got to walk through the fire station.

National School Lunch Week Info
Carlisle High School is hosting its annual college night on Monday, October 17th from 5PM - 7PM in the gymnasium. Over 40 colleges, universities and trade schools will be represented. Students and parents are invited. Students will also receive extra credit for inviting a parent, or a friend from another school district. We hope to see everyone there!

Dual Credit college classes will begin Monday, August 22nd, and Fire Academy will begin Wednesday, August 17th. Students will be transported via Starcraft to the Overton Center to receive their instruction. All dual credit payments are due by this Friday, August 19th. If there are any questions regarding dual credit, please contact Mr. Duncan (duncant@carlisleisd.org).

Scholarship checks are available at the high school for Class of 2022 graduates who received the Carlisle Alumni Scholarship. Students must provide proof of college enrollment before they can pick up their checks. Please see Mr. Duncan to pick up your check or email him at duncant@carlisleisd.org if you have any questions.

We're pleased to announce our Indian of the Year as Ms. Darla Parr. Ms. Parr was selected out of all of our Indians of the Month and received the most votes from our staff. Ms. Parr has been such an asset to our district, continuously showcasing her caring heart, positive attitude, and endless dedication. She's one who always lights up a room with her bubbly personality and infectious smile. Congratulations to our outstanding representative and happy retirement. You will truly be missed!
