Each year, thousands of young people are selected to attend Rotary sponsored leadership camps held in districts throughout the country. Groups of outstanding young people spend several days in a challenging program of leadership training, discussion, inspirational addresses, and social activities designed to enhance personal development, leadership, and good citizenship. The official name of this activity is the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). This year's participants from the Henderson Rotary Club were: Ivan Garza & Jessica Hernandez. Both students attended a leadership camp in February, and joined the Henderson Rotary Club this afternoon to talk about their experiences!

The Juniors and Seniors of the Health Science Program attended the Christus Rise Up program yesterday. They had the opportunity to meet with staff from all the different branches of the hospital and had a panel discussion to ask questions about different aspects of their jobs. The students were given a tour of the hospital including the new flight deck at the top of the hospital. Thank you to @Christus Mother Frances Hospital for hosting our Health Science students.
