Reminder to Students Signed Up for the KC Tour:
Tomorrow, the rootED Alliance will be taking seniors on a tour of both Kilgore College campuses. The tours will focus on cosmetology, health science, and the industrial trades. Students should meet at the front of the 300 building at 8 a.m. to board the bus. We’ll return before 8th period. Lunch will be provided for all students, courtesy of rootED.
We have just been notified by SWEPCO that there are areas of the community who are without power at this time. These outages are impacting some of the facilities at the school district. SWEPCO is telling us that the possible power restoration will be around 1:00 this afternoon. At this time, we will have a delayed start to school at 10:00 AM. If we still are without power as we get closer to that time, another message will be sent out to cancel the entire school day.
If the power is restored before 10:00, the buses will be leaving the school for their bus route at 9:00. A message will be sent out before 9:00 if we are still without power. If we do start school at 10:00, breakfast will not be served.

Aurora Concepts visited our campus today to provide meningitis vaccinations for our juniors and seniors! Since this vaccine is a college requirement, we were thrilled to see such a great turnout and support among our students.
We plan to offer this clinic annually for 11th and 12th graders, so if your child wasn’t able to participate this year, they’ll have another opportunity next year.

The Carlisle Student Council attended the District 4 Spring Conference today at Pine Tree High school. They served as an officer school this past year as Parliamentarian. Carlisle brought home awards in Recognition of Outstanding Achievement for Projects in Community Service and Pride & Patriotism. Additionally 2 of Carlisle's Senior StuCo members, Jessica Hernandez and Taryn Goss received scholarships in the amount of $250 from the Texas Association of Student Councils District 4 . Congrats ladies on a job well done. #StuCo #BetterTogether #Leadership
